    Lake District’s best kept secret…

This holiday park on the coast of Cumbria has it all: Holiday Homes for sale, both static caravans and luxury lodges, and holiday homes for hire. We cater for all holiday budgets, so why not come along and see what we have to offer you.

Port Haverigg Marina Village Holiday Park is a true gem, a unique holiday park like no other. If you are planning to take your next holiday in Cumbria, then Port Haverigg is your perfect destination. This stunning park is located just outside Millom, on the Cumbrian coastline, just touching the western lakes area. Cumbria boasts not only natural beauty but also excellent water sports and outdoor pursuits. Our 200 acre fresh water private lake is not only stunning but also the only lake in the Lake District with NO speed restrictions, meaning this is truly a water sports enthusiasts ‘dream come true’.

The park itself is beautiful. Cleverly laid out with almost two thirds of the plots having water views, all with generous grounds and parking bays around them. Some even have private moorings outside their units for their own boats.

The park has two entries to the lake, one in the secure boatyard and one at the other end of the park by the Ski School and Ski Bar. Both are secure and family friendly. The Ski School provides the equipment, safety and boats for your fun and enjoyment. Port Haverigg is the ultimate family friendly holiday destination.

Within a five minutes’ walk, you have what “The Mirror” rated as the UK’s 3rd Best Hidden Beach, with miles of stunning sand, dunes and gorgeous coastline. Further up the coast, there is also the local rugby club, and a little further down is a nudist beach that is very secluded and out of the way – don’t worry, you won’t stumble on to it too easily. The town of Millom is small but has all you need: banks, supermarkets, petrol station, take away and more.

With fantastic walks, water sports and outdoor adventures, Port Haverigg can offer the adventure you want or be the quiet retreat you need. Our park is home to mixture of holiday homes, from Static Caravans to Luxury Lodges. The park is located within 40 minutes of the M6 and the scenery will leave you speechless. It is simply breath-taking!

The facilities on site were massively updated in 2016 with the installation of a WakeStation – a two tower cable pulley system which enables the wakeboarders to be towed up and down without the use of a boat, making your beginner lessons much easier – and a WakePark, which is very similar to a skateboard park, with kickers and rails for progressing riders. Cumbria’s first and brand new WakePark is also one of only a few places in the UK that run both boat and cable boat towed sports such as wakeboarding, waterskiing, wakeskating, kneeboarding, banana, ringo and boat rides.

Make sure you pay them a visit to enjoy a tasteful menu and a glass of wine, homemade cakes and freshly ground coffee.

Do you want to be pulled along by beautiful huskies to see the wonderful county of Cumbria? Make sure you book one of plenty amazing husky experiences that Horse & Husky can offer you!
